That was amazing.
Now if only Zach could stop mispronouncing names.

Sharing gum grosses me out. I can't do it. There are lots of things much worse, but sharing gum just gets me. I'd probably eat an unchewed piece that had been thrown on the ground before I'd chew a piece someone else was just chewing. It's irrational, I know.

Why is everyone so red? I think they may have been "bassooning" out in the sun too long before the shoot.

Loved the Louis insert. They seem to have the Craig Ferguson "awkward pause" down pat.

That thing that went skidding across the bottom of the screen? I think that was a shark.

As if there is such thing as a last piece of gum for Bradley Pitts.

My favorite part is Louis CK coming out and being a crappy comedian on purpose. Do you think neurosurgeons or rocket scientists ever get so famous and confident that they can just fuck up someone's brain or deliberately build a rocket that blows up on the launchpad because they know everyone will know they were just goofin' on purpose?

The Thanksgiving belly and Dapper Dan questions made me nostalgic for Zach's stand-up: spontaneous, absurd, irrelevant, but delivered with such enthusiasm and mirth.

Brad Pitt comes across as genuinely humourless in this, even though he's in on the joke.

Brad Pitt was, once again, just ok, but the Louis C.K. bit was hilarious.

It felt, to me, like he wasn't responding to anything because he was already on the cusp of breaking a laugh and was so focused on trying to stay composed.

"Was it like when Ross met Rachel?" Nicely done.

I disagree. I felt like he was being the straightman.

I felt like he was being the straightman.

I think the grounding of these skits is that the celebrity acts the way they really would, given who they are, within the setup. You'd expect Pitt to be terse, annoyed, and confused if this were a real thing. They don't mess with this too much so that when they do break just a little - notice the way he seems "genuinely" "caught off guard" when Zach mentions Condi - it lands much better because it's an exception. /explaincomedy

Yeah, these wouldn't be as funny if the actors weren't always a mix of confused and annoyed.

I'm guessing that Zach gets these questions verbatim from actual replies to celebrity twitter feeds.

I could watch awkwardness like this for a solid 2 hours and it would not get boring or old to me.

May be related to why I like Wes Anderson so much.

Awkward delight.

After Obama leaves office, he should totally play the Chief in a Get Smart remake.

I think we may have reached the exact moment when Zach Galifankis and Brad Pitt are just about as physically attractive as each other. Who saw THAT coming?

(That's not meant as any huge dis on Pitt, who seems like a nice enough fellow. But he's getting craggy while also still looking kind of like a baby, while Galifankis seems to be turning into an American Kenneth Branagh.)

I don't know what you mean, I thought he said "Galifankis" just fine.

I just saw the Obama one, and Oh my god, the prez gets some zingers in!

I just want to high five Pres. Obama. He's so funny and cool with such a shitty job.

One of the best BTFs ever. Louis CK seals the deal.

Is it just me, or was all the stuff with Brad Pitt and the gum a gambit to keep himself from laughing? He keeps pursing his lips, covering his mouth, turning his head away from the camera, etc.
