Need to know where to find sushi when you travel? Sushiref.com has worldwide listings as well as a plethora of other sushi info that is updated regularly.

Thanks for the chance to revisit the sushi feasts of yore, including disco sushi, the only sashimi in the Dominican Republic, the first sushi restaurant in my home town, and my favorite in all the world.

Hmmm, only 6 restaurants listed for my entire state, and there are no reviews on any of them. Think maybe sushi's time in Maine has not yet come? Or perhaps I could look on the lack of posted reviews as a personal challenge -- my chance to become The Sushi Authority of Northern New England. "Honey, get the car!"

Why do many sushi shops around the world only do makizushi and onegiri style sushi (rolled in seaweed)? I always expect them to put a big bit of fish on some rice, but no, it's always the cheap, stingy stuff. (In Japan, maybe 5 percent of the sushi is rolled in seaweed).
