I've personally been using Bach's formula on my Beagle for a couple of months now before grooming, and even though it really, really shouldn't work (isn't it just homeopathic stuff?), it somehow does. I don't think I'm crazy or imagining it, my doggy sits still as a statue and doesn't freak out. Maybe the smell has a calming effect? Either way, hope it helps!
