Here's the collected clips from the End of 2014 Wipe. She's by far the best thing in the hour long special. Trust me though, you'll want to miss Brooker's audition for the Sleaford Mods rap song at the end -- which is the last 4 minutes of this clip.

I feel like you'd want to wipe more than weekly. But that's no my business.

(best crossword puzzle clue ever was "You can't stand having one", 3 letters...)

Hooray for Philomena Cunk .

I about lost it when she said, "Now black people can be whatever they want in America. As long as it's President or shot."

Crunk does usually have the funniest lines, but let's not forget Brooker's amazing ability to insult people. When he was speaking about the I-can't-believe-they-aired-that The Plane That Vanished: Live the line "Fronted by no more an authority than Donald MacIntyre." is so subtle, but all the more cutting because of it.

I slightly resent the end of year Wipes for inevitably covering things that I was feeling quite smug about having avoided seeing. I'd have quite happily seen out my days without having my eyeballs and brainpan sullied by Dapper Laughs were it not for Mr Brooker.

There's also my general feeling that the world the Wipes are set in is on its way to becoming more odd and unrealistically dystopian than the Black Mirror universes...

Two things about the full show. First, the documentary in the middle… Oh, dear.

Second, concerning Release the Hounds, wasn't that one of the fake shows in The Running Man? The fact they produced, shot, and aired this show makes me more depressed than that documentary segment.

As much as I love Philomena, she bears a striking resemblance to Rose Leslie as Ygritte in Game of Thrones, which means that whenever I watch an episode with Ygritte, I start calling her Philomena, and whenever I watch a Wipe episode, I start making Jon Snow jokes.

I am also quite fond of Barry Shitpeas.

Thank god for Charlie Brooker. I haven't had heroes since I was a child, but if I still did, he'd be one.

ob1quixote: “ [W]asn't Release the Hounds one of the fake shows in The Running Man?”
Finally found it, the show in the movie is Climbing for Dollars, but it does have people being attacked by dogs for money. So we've got that going for us. Which is nice.

Her standup comedy duo is with Joe Wilkinson, another person I have only seen in bit parts on a TV show.

On Russell Brand: "He was good because when politicians talk they use all this boring language normal people don't use, that you can't understand, but he cut through all that by talking in Victorian."

I loved that bit because I knew where the joke was going, but still didn't expect to take that route and end at that destination.

Trust me though, you'll want to miss Brooker's audition for the Sleaford Mods rap song at the end

I learned that the Blockheads are still going sans Dury, and Diane Morgan gets to be something other than Philomena.
