Weird and creepy. I like it.

Interesting, but ultimately short. Plus, "winning" reveals it is a viral book ad. The book looks interesting and I am considering it, so it accomplished its purpose.

Ah, hadn't realized it was an ad. Added a tag for disclosure. I somehow hadn't actually managed to find that in wandering through it. =p

The viral ad nature notwithstanding, this seems like an oblique commentary on what it can be like to follow and be followed on Twitter.

It's no AD&D on Twitter, though.

All that glisters is not gold. The detonation rips you in half. They feast on your remains.

I hate it when that happens.

One of the Tweets is dated July 1 2008. Playing the long game...

Thanks for the "Background and explanations" link - I did hit all 23 points in the story pretty quickly. (And wow, those are some depressing "success" scenarios.)

Hey, and the guy sold a copy of some other dude's book, so double good on 'em.

Took me a minute to figure what the heck was going on, but I found it interesting. That it is an ad doesn't ruin it for me. If some ad company invented Q-bert and I played it only to find out the end was an ad for dish soap, I wouldn't be angry. I'd appreciate the Q-bert. That's kind of how I feel about this. Though, while interesting, this isn't quite Q-bert.
