I would be a fan of a less facetious, 20+ minute yoga training video of this, something along the lines of vegan black metal chef

Cthulhu Cultists get a bad rap. The whole religion is about like, being healthy, man! And also meditating on the best position to be in when swallowed by Dagon.

OK concept, zero effort

Eponysterical, but sadly not actually hysterical.

I always thought of the Cthulhu cult as more of a Pilates thing. You know- having your soul torn asunder is really good for the core.

Nyarlathotep, of course, is all about Zumba.

Exercise alone won't cut it. You get the body of the formless spawn of Tsathoggua in the kitchen. Search online for a diet of black ichorous meats if you really want some big gains.

Help! I'm stuck in the Brown Jenkin pose, and my tiny hands feel like they're on fire!

To be fair, it's hard to engineer a pop filter that works in non-euclidian space. Once they've tracked down an XLR cable that doesn't pick up interference from the constant screams of the eternally damned, most recording engineers will have run out of money and/or gone permanently insane anyway.

I tried this out and I'm definitely squamous, but I'm not sure that I'm sufficiently rugose.

I am mostly especially bemused that this is by Laurie Penny, more usually known for left-wing UK political and social commentary. Ia! Shub-Niggurath! Socialism!

I haven't seen the word rugose since I read The Sweet Science. Have to look that one up.

rugose
1. having wrinkles; wrinkled; ridged.
2. Botany. rough and wrinkled: applied to leaves in which the reticulate venation is very prominent beneath, with corresponding creases on the upper side.

Good choice. What's that word for crawling sunlight at dusk, hmm.

Tried books.google w/ tenebrous (red squiggley duh) and lovecraft.

"And through this revolting graveyard of the universe the muffled, maddening beating of drums, and thin, monotonous whine of blasphemous flutes from inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond Time; the detestable pounding and piping whereunto dance slowly, awkwardly, and absurdly the gigantic tenebrous ultimate gods - he [sic] blind, voiceless, mindless gargoyles whose soul is Nyarlathotep." Nope no crawling sunlight. Can't be perambulating sunlight, what was it.

I believe your dusklight may, at that point, be friscalating.

Cthulhu Cultists get a bad rap.

One has to be unsettled by a religion which revolves around the human sacrifice and symbolic ritual cannibalism of a tortured innocent victim, a victim whose death is offered as appeasement to a god whose promise to his followers is that they will be obliterated from the earth before the terror of the god's return begins. I have heard them singing cheerfully about blood, about the wonder-working power of blood, about bathing in blood...

Christianity's pretty weird.
