Zigong Dinosaurs World Science & Technology Co makes animatronic dinosaurs. Some are large and imposing, some less so. Their Youtube channel is a 5-year-old's delight.

There's an animatronic dinosaur manufacturer around the block from my office that I've been really curious about for years. I'd love to go in and see what they have. But I'm also terrified of half-skinned mechanical Tyrannosaurus jaws so I'm saying no for now.

I had one of those lucid dreams a few years ago. I was in a mechanical dinosaur park in Germany, and they had the dinos on quiet, slow moving trains so they seemed to wander, and dip their heads and so forth. The kicker for me was the e-type Jaguar I was driving, with the pink taffeta and black overlayed lace, paint job. It all seemed so real the smell of the forest, the dinos and that car!

I think the ankylosaur in the "less so" link would be considered large and imposing by most standards.

How embarrassing, you left off a digit there.

A local museum had brought a miniature raptor animatronic to a NASCAR race and set it up next to their display booth. Make all the jokes you want about rednecks not believing in dinosaurs, but I found the various reactions to the creature fascinating. Some laughed, some took pictures, and some seem genuinely frightened of it, but it must have triggered some primordial part of our collective brains because I didn't see a single adult (self included) get within four feet of the thing.
