I've been trying to get my daughters to appreciate Sleater-Kinney and bands of that ilk with only moderate success. And now I have a secret weapon!

Nice to see a music video play around with a visual concept without breaking up the song with pauses or dialog and sound effects. And I don't say this just because I use YouTube as a freer clone of Spotify.

You break into the Belcher's house, play a song for the kids...and you don't invite Gene up to join you on the keyboard / novelty loudspeaker? Harsh, Sleater-Kinney, harsh.

I love it whenever Bob's Burgers does anything musical, especially the little bits during the closing credits. There's one (I wish I could remember the episode) where Tina and Jimmy Jr are dancing like happy spazzy tweens to some poppy/punkish song that is pure adolescent joy.

I also would have really enjoyed seeing Louise develop a sudden crush on/urge to slap Corin Tucker. Or any of them, whatever.

Best song of the album and it fits with Bob's Burgers zeitgeist perfectly.

If a single flake of snow or drop of ice prevents them from performing in Boston this Sunday, I'm gonna punch Elsa in the throat.

You heard me. I'm threatening a fictional character that, were she real, could freeze my blood/skewer me with an icicle/imprison me in a tomb of ice. I am beyond internet tough guy.

All I want now is an entire season's worth of Sleater-Kinney inspired burgers on the chalkboard, but I'm not nearly creative enough to come up with any really good ones.

And now I'm watching Bob's Burgers on Netflix instead of studying, thanks a lot Metafilter.

No really... thanks, you're consistently awesome.

light ranch carrots(y?) Okay, that one's a stretch. Mostly because I can't see Bob's Burgers with carrots on the menu.

You know, if you'd told me that I would spend about half an hour today trying to think of grilled food that rhymes with Joey Ramone, I wouldn't have believed you. And yet.

I wanna be your Huitlacoche y Jamón burger.

Yeah, I spent too long thinking about Joey Ramon sounding foodstuffs, too. Thanks Steve and The Sneeze for my solution.

Toddler Butterstick has been demanding this on a loop all day. Dances like a maniac. Best part is when he starts yelling "Tina!"

I finally fixed four months of Youtube not playing right on my computer to see this.

Oh my god so worth it. I'm boppin' my head with joy even after the song was over!

I wonder if they tried to get the voice actors on board for this? I suppose it would have made the rights more complicated, but it felt odd to have Bob and Linda frowning up at the ceiling without comment.

Regardless: this is excellent. Best of good times.
