Matt Haughey's Community Slack?

Two days after announcing his departure from Metafilter, Matt Haughey announced on Twitter today that he is joining the team at messaging and conversation platform Slack. The company has been growing rapidly with 60,000 teams and 135,000 paid accounts in one year.
This post was deleted for the following reason: It's big news and Slack is pretty cool, but there needs to be a lot more meat to the not-just-what's-on-Metatalk bit for this to make sense as a post over here. -- cortex
I hope he gets some time off to do nothing what so ever involving websites or computers or whatever, or I fear he's going to just continue to be burned out.

Also, if anyone has the experience with it, I'd love to hear how this differs from other group messaging apps like Campfire.
