This post was deleted for the following reason: This is indeed totally boneheaded, but it's already linked in the active discussion in climate change post from a couple days ago, maybe better to take this discussion over there too. -- LobsterMitten

Well that will fix everything.

They think they're so clever, but we can beat them at their own game, and by banning the usage of the word "Florida" we can make sure they don't impede our clean energy agenda.

I hope the scientists fill the report with newspaper obscenity styled redaction. "Due to the anticipated effects of cl---te ch--ge, everyone in Florida should really move to another state."

This is beyond dumb. I'm not sure they even know what sustainability means since it should still be relevant even for climate change deniers.

How about "climate collapse" or "anthropocene mass extinction event"... those still good?

Yo - GallonofAlan - That Isaac Cordal statue is awesome. Do note that Gov Rick Scott looks like one or two of the representations ...

Why do I live here? Oh yeah, because I can't afford to leave. On the plus side I'll be in ocean-front property soon, as long as the Megahurricanes don't tear this place apart. Too bad about Miami, but I never did like that place.

I guess Gov. Scott is sticking his head in the sand while there's still some available.
