I have to wonder about this. Refuseniks sounds highly political, but well, the dwellings look very similar to the homeless community that existed in San Jose until recently.

This reminds me of how self-help housing (whether in Bogota or along the Rio Grande or in the Carpathians, and whether labeled as a slum, squatter site, or pioneer community) has been and remains an important form of home creation. Thanks for posting!
