My eyes! They're burning!

More seriously, I really love the fun things people have been doing with Twine in the last couple of years. I've seen some really complicated stuff and some really silly, happy stuff and all of it looks really cool. This was cute!

I should note that Porpentine made this for twiny jam; I didn't want to put that in the post itself in case I feel the desire to enter or anyone I know personally did, & I don't want to test the no-self-post rule in weird ways or anything. But it is a neat game jam!

This is vaguely amusing, but is there a point? Progression? Does what you do have consequences?

Now I know how my parents feel when they encounter the internet, or anything technological at all.

What is it? Why is it? What is it for?

USENET is community-generated, like LittleBigPlanet. Maybe NetHack.
