The first few bars of It's a Hard Life is the tune of Vesti la Giubba from Pagliacci. Vesti la giubba means put on the costume.

I assume this was intentional.

We all need more operatic eyeball jumpsuits in our life.

I think the latest update is that Sacha Cohen's Freddie bio is not moving forward. Which is regrettable, because he could do a really ama-zing portrayal with the right script. I would love to see that.
