More than $775,000 has been raised in one day through a GoFundMe page set up on behalf of Memories Pizza, after owner Crystal O'Connor told a reporter “If a gay couple came in and wanted us to provide pizzas for their wedding, we would have to say no,” and protesters "wrecked the restaurant’s Yelp, Facebook and Google pages with negative reviews." A reference to arson has also been reported, and resulted in the suspension of a high school sports coach.
