Triple Palindrome set for tonight. For those that follow British time, tonight, at 2 minutes past 8 your clock will read 20:02 20/02/2002

What can you say about such a statement?

What can you say about such a statement?

Seems a bit of an understatement to me.

You must have a weird clock. Mine only reads the time.

"It won't come around for 111 years, and after that it will never happen again"

Well, at least it won't happen again until another primary culture changes the dating system again.

Just imagine if this meant something!

"That has happened only three times before - at 10.01 on 10 January 1001, at 11.11 on 11 November 1111, and at 12.21 on 12 December 1221."

12.21 on 12 December 1221 is 12:21 12/12/1221, and I don't see a triple palindrome there.

Von Stengel said Wednesday's triple palindrome showed how stimulating maths can be.

Yeah, I've always found maths very stimulating. And, hey, if Uri Geller thinks this is important, who am I to argue? I don't wanna come home and find all my spoons messed around with.

"madam, i am adam"

"really? that's nice. do you have the time by any chance?"

"20:02 20/02/2002"

"you are a dork."

"but i am an asshole as well, ensuring that you'll want me"

"you're right. let's eat apples."

Lets not be so Gregorian Calendar-centric. Its only 10 years until the date 0.0.0.0.0!! The beginning/end of the Mayan Long Count.
