Are you suggesting that Batman does not have a firm grip on fertility?

Looks like Morrison's Hypercrisis hit pretty hard.

There exists a picture of pregnant Batman on the moon, and it somehow didn't make this list? Somebody screwed up.

This one isn't even bizarre, it's just a cover page with "Batman" written in Japanese.

Quite a bit of NSFW there, actually, though it's mostly small, low-contrast images.

Needs more Pink Batman, Yellow Batman, Rainbow Batman, Rollerskating Rainbow Batman, Bizarro Batman, and Piraro Batman.

This is not bizarre, it's merely his summer bat-outfit.

"Holy Rollerskating Rainbow Batman, Batman" is going to be said by me from now until I get smacked for overuse of the phrase. And I might have to use that picture wherever I possibly can for a while.

people never get tired of me

The recent "POW!" post reminded me of Sacramento's own afternoon cartoon host Cap'n Mitch...and here he is in this post too!

That 'Joker's Boner' stuff has REALLY worn out its welcome at this point.

I was thinking to myself, 'hey, these aren't so NSFW,' but then BOOM! ZAP! POW!

Jerry Lewis had a comic book?

Oh come on! Joker's Boner never falls flat!

At a glance, about 10% of these do not even have Batman in them (maybe the absence of Batman is the bizarre thing here) and significant fraction of the others are just Batman comics or merchandise in languages other than English, because those foreigners sure talk funny.

All this is really missing is the cklickbait subhead: you know, "#18 will make you plotz" or whatever.

So who was it with the Fruit of the Loom account who thought this was a good idea for a campaign?

. . .and of course, Mr. Batman Suparman.

Mitch O'Connell is a great artist, but if any Batporn is counted as bizarre, you could easily surpass 1000 entries and not have to fall back on nude pictures where the model is wearing bat wings or something. Take this one, for example.

That's probably a promo for Chip Kidd's excellent Bat-Manga!: The Secret History of Batman in Japan.

Jerry Lewis had a comic book?

Yes, he did - as in real life, first with Dean Martin, then solo - and so did Bob Hope! And the comic version of Bob Hope had a "nephew" named Tadwaller Jutefruce, who in turn had a secret superhero identity as Super-Hip!

A lot of the DC comics line was pretty weird during the 1950s and 60s.

There are no Rule 34 examples among these pictures - therefore, this collection has not even scratched the surface of bizarre

Still, I have to admit this one got me. i hadda go double-check and make sure it wasn't real.

Actually the Chip Kidd cover is taken from one of the Batman comics made for Japan by Jiro Kuwata in the '60s. You can find the collected works on Amazon and also Comixology has the first 45 issues if you're ok with digital comics. Kuwata's art style and heavy use of black and white and not much grey in the artwork makes it an interesting read. Definitely not in the "BIZARRE!" camp with the underoos.

Wait, are there any comic archeologists that can tell me more about the veracity of this mock up for a Mario Bava/Roger Corman Batman film in the 1970s? With David Bowie as the joker, no less?

Because I want to hear all about that. Even more so than the Orson Welles Batman film. Thought not quite as much as the Jodorowsky Dune.

To be fair, an average panel of a Jimmy Olsen comic is more bizarre than this entire list.

That guy couldn't go ten feet without being turned into a giant turtle-Olsen and getting kidnapped by gangsters.

Sorry Batman; you are pretty normal.

Las Onomatopeyas (previously) has lots of the onomatopoeic title cards from the 1960s Batman TV show.

It was a simpler time.
It really was.

I'm no expert, but a Caroline Monroe Catwoman? Would have ruined me.
I am pretty sure that's just someone's mock up ala Welles.
