Redman was supposed to play my colleges end of year concert back in 2002....he never showed up because he was (allegedly) busted for drugs in NYC earlier that day.....hence this story does not surprise me.

They don't mention it, but didn't he have like two stacks of porno movies just sitting next to the TV?

MTV revisited Redman's crib in 2014 and he did indeed make some renovations (although his bedroom is still refreshingly messy).

And this is the thread where the magic happens.

If they didn't call the episode Dare Iz a Doorbell I am disappointed

Delighted by the 2014 revisit and he's kept it real with no sheets. I also recognized some dollar store products!

I love how much the Redman/Cream interactions read like Ray and Roast Beef.

When it is too hot to sleep on the couch I just go right to the floor

It is basically a cooler situation

Redman keeps it real on Cribs. Love it.

FTFY. I think I'm going to start using Beyonce as a verb to describe improving anything, from now on. That was delightful.

I had previously pinpointed Red's Cribs episode as the apex of my ability to love rap culture without rationalization and I stand by that. Red Man and Inspectah Deck are my working class heroes of hiphop.

The first season of Cribs also had an Episode where they went to Sean William Scott's place. It was an apartment he shared with a roommate, and there was a hole in the kitchen wall. I wasn't convinced that one was real, either.

Justified the whole show, in the process of subverting it.

(Also Redman's first four albums and Blackout all belong in the canon of 90's hip-hop and if you disagree I will fight you)

Don't be fooled. Redman didn't squander his millions. He's been investing wisely with Wu Tang Financial.

Redman didn't squander his millions.

Wait, did Redman make millions and lose it? I know he was very successful in the 90s in terms of charts and he's produced a lot of underground hits, but that doesn't necessarily mean he made a lot of money

Man, that Cribs episode just made me love Redman. It came out right around the time he did Oooh with De La Soul, not long after a buddy of mine had pushed the Wu on me, for my own good.
