So here's a game I learned. Start with a YouTube video you're watching intentionally. Then click on the related video in the right column which has the least number of views. Iterate this process. You get to some amazing places.

This is fantastic*, and far more interesting than anything youtube has ever suggested. Tiny skittering dogs in Russia, four minutes of a freight train passing, a faux silent film encouraging the use of proper grammar on social media made by junior high school girls, a kick-ass marching band performance, a minute of dog agility competition shot from behind a lamp post. . . I'm hooked.

Is it a great thing or a terrible thing that there's no back button or list of viewed videos? I can't decide.

* Well, actually it's around 60% fantastic. The remaining 40% consists of video game screen caps and enthusiastic product demos for consumer electronics. Even the video slideshow of real estate snapshots is more exciting.

Why is it so hard for people to rotate their phones 90°?

Why is it so hard to make a video player that handles multiple aspect ratios?

It took me a really long time to figure out if this was a training video, a dramatic short, or a porn.

This made me laugh so hard.

First video I hit had a narrator saying "you didn't land on this video by chance." Lol

It's amazing how many people don't know to turn their cellphones sideways.

Cool idea! I enjoyed it!

Did not expect to find porn.

A bit shocked, actually.

Oookay, I found an account of someone uploading videos of missile strikes. New Edward Snowden? I don't think I'm supposed to be seeing this.

What's with all the videos labelled with random hex numbers, sometimes but not always preceded by the word "trim"? I assume it's output from a phone app or something?

First video was an impassioned dance/lipsync to Pharrell Williams' "Happy" by a 5-year-old. Not bad!

Two dogs playing in the mud!

Random Russian guys revving a Bentley!

I'm so hooked.

I'm loving this. Some interesting things, some weird ones. But unless someone finds otherwise, it seems to prove there is no such thing as a cute animal video with less than 100 views.

I saw a sweet birthday dinner for a 1 year old, a Russian opening a package that contained 1 tiny chip, a couple of jets escorting a flying saucer. But I'm wondering why most of these videos have odd titles like "trim A299448A F72C 4280 AD8A 3E3FB3331577"?

I got a bunch of the "trim #####" videos as well. No idea.

I also got the most unintentionally hilarious wedding slideshow ever, so that's okay I guess?

If you're logged into YouTube, the videos you watch will show up in your history, as usual.

How would you handle it better? Crop it? Stretch it?

I keep coming across these VERY SERIOUS videos made by little kids and they're absolutely fantastic.

Change the size of the viewing window. If you're viewing a vertically-shot video on a vertically-held phone, the image should fill the screen. At present, that is not at all what happens if you use the YouTube app on Android.

I'm getting a lot less terrible minecraft videos than I expected. Mostly auto generated videos from some app or program or other.

This basically mechanizes this subreddit(standard preroll of yes reddit is garbage, yes garbage leaks even in to weird obscure subs that aren't all that popular, yes this is still sort of interesting), which has shown me some truly erm... unique things.

Hail, hail, the gang's all... taking cover.

Interestingly, after you link some of these videos here, will they get enough views to disqualify them from Incognitube?

Two videos-- a woman riding a horse in circles, a badly done real estate ad, and then watching the absolutely overwhelming excitement of a guy trying out recliners in a store. I'm outtahere.

I found this live recording of a large-member young people's song-and-dance company (apparently) celebrating their troupe's 30-year anniversary with a grand finale cover of Lady Gaga's Applause.

And I don't know what else but what I took from seeing this was that if there is ever a Legion of Superheroes/Legionnaires movie it has got to be at least as epic as this video.

Well I clicked and first video was some bad russian porn with 7 views. The other videos from the user is russian military and a couple of dog videos. All with ~20 views. I will not continue to use this service.
