Fascinating story in the Charlotte Observer about Luis Lang, a private contractor in Fort Mill, SC who refused to pay for insurance via the Affordable Care Act and is now facing a serious surgery he cannot afford. The comments on his GoFundMe page have been brutal, if you're into that kind of thing.
This post was deleted for the following reason: Active fundraiser link makes this a problem in any case, but "people are being brutal in the comments" is pretty unlikely to be a good basis for a post regardless of sympathetic or not-so-sympathetic intentions. -- cortex
