The reviews for Mad Max Fury Road have been through the roof. With universal praise for the non-CGI action sequences, tight story telling, and a smart underlying mythology. Metafilter has been looking forward to movie too!
Push back has come from Men's Blogs who seem to be astonished that Charlize Theron's character has the audacity to speak.
Charlize Theron kept showing up a lot in the trailers, while Tom Hardy (Mad Max) seemed to have cameo appearances. Charlize Theron sure talked a lot during the trailers, while I don’t think I’ve heard one line from Tom Hardy. And finally, Charlize Theron’s character barked orders to Mad Max.
