It's very good.

And very Australian - at least, for the baddies.

I've never seen anything like it.

For 30 years we coopted Dr. Miller's vision of the apocalypse. Some tweaks, but that was it.

Now we've got at least another 30 years to work with.

This is an important film, both in terms of presentation, but filmmaking itself. Mechanically, and logistically, it's a reminder that you don't need to film everything on a greenscreen stage in the studio.

Go see it.

I saw an early draft for Mad Max: Pique Parkway and I have to admit this sounds better.

ThI do kind of wish that the commercials and posters would lead with:

FROM THE DIRECTOR OF BABE 2: PIG IN THE CITY AND HAPPY FEET --

I'm sure it's a good movie and I'll be seeing it, but I've seen loads of car chases that don't really advance the plot where you get multiple quick cutaways that give us a break to snigger at horrible freak injuries to dispensable bad guys who have mohawk hairstyles, missing and/or metal teeth, and wear leather waistcoats with nothing underneath. This looked exactly the same.
