This has to be one of the worst designed websites I've seen in awhile.

Spoiler, find the tiny down arrow in the bottom left hand corner because mousewheels aren't a thing and having your navigation in a noticeable place is so western.

At first I thought the tiny down arrow was a "downvote" button. Which is something I could have used for the entry for my country - the "story" was both extremely superficial and inaccurate. On a positive note, at least it was very short.

I like the pictures. I wish the stories (as far as I've seen) were a bit longer.

Some items have more story available. Follow the links to their sources. For example, the DRC one has a link to the guy's website (http://www.archieleeming.com) which has the full tale under "Journeys". On the other hand the Iranian one just goes to Flickr.

Also, this deeper link offers a lot more posts than just the half-dozen things you see on the front page. It has a menu.

Shucks, I thought it was gonna be like AirBnB or Couchsurfing for travelers, like... find random strangers to travel to exotic places with! There's no way that could go wrong!

The traditional way to do that is to go the first hostel by yourself, then latch onto someone going the direction you want.
