Why would someone take the time to do this? Is it internet performance art or just a lot of really boring short videos?

You can also watch Jon count.

That's the crazy thing...he filmed them all in one day!

Better not pay too close attention to what's happening in the background of those videos.

I've said too much already.

Wonderfully weird. Quick question: why does the link on the period in the sentence "... will not be disappointed." send me to a video predicting the Powerball numbers for March 28, 2015?

I think the gag there is that the video looks like it was uploaded a day earlier. Not sure how he did that. Maybe he uploaded a video for every possible combination?

3000 little plastic bottles in a landfill somewhere - he's sitting at home, he could have just gone to the tap. Pathetic.

This is like, what happens when people decide not to be survivalists anymore. Or like, when people realized that Y2K wasn't a thing after all.

"What the hell am I going to do with all this bottled water? Oh hey, here's a camera!"

The TL;DR link with 2000 drinks in one video is cut up art.

Thrillingly, the video of him eating carrots also shows him drinking some water! Genre-blending at its most situationist.

oceanjesse: "when people realized that Y2K wasn't a thing after all."

Y2K wasn't a thing because people worked their ass off making it not-a-thing. That's like saying "People got smallpox vaccinations? Didn't they realize smallpox wasn't a thing after all?"
