The compositing is good, but the combination makes zero cents on narrative or thematic level. Mad Max isn't a sprawling space opera and trying to make it so is odd.

That'll do, mashup culture. That'll do.

That didn't make a damn bit of sense, but it was fun to look at.

Clicking through links on the sidebar got me wondering one thing, though: How in the Hell is the entire Fury Road movie up on YouTube in HD already? I can still see it in the goldurn theater where I'm at.

It's a combination of Mad Max and Star Wars. How can you possibly be expecting "sense" or a "narrative" or whatever?

This mashup finally makes it clear why warboys are falling out of the sky during the fire tornado scene. Of course they were flying TIE fighters!

Can Tie Fighters fly in atmosphere?

Also from mashup culture this month: Batman vs. Superman in DayMan V NightMan: Dawn of Troll Toll.

I began to nerdrage at SNOWSPEEDERS IN A DUSTSTORM, but the tusken raiders won me over, those guys and the warboys need to hang out.

Well, there's Darth Vader's long held distaste for sand. That fits both.

TIE fighters fly in atmosphere during the Rebels TV show. Not sure how they survive re entry w no shielding.

I've been wondering that myself. There's full 1080p WEB-DL releases floating around the Internet now, which suggests the movie has been released in streaming format legally somewhere. But where?

(For comparison, the only copies of Age of Ultron out there are garbage CAM copies, a TeleCine with errors and bad color from a theater in China, and a falsely labeled WEBHD that's actually a CAM of a screening in Hindi. Or so the NFO files tell me.)

I'd like to see that NFO file.
