Also, there is some god-level steadicam work in this.

Wimp, didn't take that last little jump.

That's beautiful cinematography and some outstanding work with what appears to be not so much a bicycle as a pair of prosthetic wheels. Nice post!

Nah, he was respecting the fact that the outlying little rock is full of nesting seabirds and is protected. Otherwise, he would have done it.

The odds of me ever being able to stay on a fallen tree/log while on a bike are 0 to the nth power--as for managing the other feats--just plain zero. Kudos for the riding, cinematography and post.

I like how he carries his bike out at the end, the rocks, crashing waves and sheer cliffs suggesting that maaaybe he's gone a bit too far. If I had even half his bike handling skills, I would feel like Superman.

I have to ask, though: how did he not destroy like 80 gajillion rims and spokes as he jumps off All The Things?

Looks to me like he does that by integrating machinery engineered for the express purpose of jumping off all the things into the very fibre of his being.

thank you schmod. I am continually impressed by how quickly and well high quality personal drone footage has been incorporated into these sorts of films. Most of those "moving / panning" shots literally would not have been possible to do (or may have been much more challenging / expensive and the range would have been much more limited) even three years ago.
