Next up for bid, the damn raft.That's right, the top item for sale is the raft that Elian survived on while traveling to the United States from Cuba. Although six days are left in the auction, 112 bids have already been placed on it, with the high bid now at $10 million.

OK - so now that I got that out of the way, the reason I actually came in here. We updated one of the sites where I work the other day, and I just checked and google has already indexed the new changes.

The last time it tooks several weeks before they found the new stuff, but this time they got it instantly.

Those guys are amazing. I don't know if we were just lucky to get it in during their normal crawl or if they are checking content way faster these days, but I feel like I won a prize or something. OK, a really lame prize I mean what kind of thing is that to fret over, but still, I'm happy.

Now all I need to do is figure out a way to get lots of employers to try Apple Direct Source to search for resumes to justify the project we did over the summer, and I'll be set.

Woke up early today and caught an ABC cartoon Teacher's Pet. It's great! I mean it's got Nathan Lane in it for gosh sakes, and the writing is sharp and funny. I guess it's been on for 2 seasons now, which leaves me wondering what other great TV I might be missing.

Oh, and the Mary Kate and Ashley cartoon that precedes it is great in a wholly different so bad it's good kind of way.

Social Network Analysis seems like an interesting concept. In much the same way that all knowledge management activities just seem to massive to really do well, I can't really see taking the time to map out all of the social interdependencies and rolls in a group or organization. For this reason, I'm not sure how this works outside of theory, but I wish I had more time to read up on it.
