Apple's iPod used in stealing software. Not only is it an mp3 player or a portable 5 gig harddrive, but now it's being used to steal software!

Look at this through the other end of the telescope. This would make a very effective technique for spying, whether it's our CIA, their al Qaeda, or corporate. As a network manager, I'd be very concerned about this feature, especially if I were in any kind of sensitive business. Of course, it IS just the same as a floppy, except that it's got capacity and speed up the wazoo by comparison. It's just another hole to worry about in typical porous security.

yea, ipods are bootable too, which was a feature apple said when they came out, so they probably won't do away with that stuff. and anyway, apple is fun. :)
