I was just listening to some Kathleen Edwards, and now I see this, and I'm weeping like a little baby.

Damn you, Kathleen! Damn you baby sloth!

I am a little fixated on the fact that they only poop once a week, but it is apparently an enormous amount. I can't even begin to imagine the cleanup. Good thing they are mostly herbivores.

Here is a video of David Attenborough narrating a sloth slowth poop.
My brother and I have watched this video at least 30 times.
Specifically the look on the sloth's slowth's face at 1:27.

Well, it takes them about 3 days to "go to the loo" and another 3 days to walk back home, so you can see why they'd save it for a once a week thing.

Aww. I have a coworker who is absolutely nuts about sloths. I just sent him links to all of these videos via work chat to help him through the horribleness that is Monday Morning At Work.

I swear at least one of you is Kristen Bell.

I've been bingeing on House of Lies lately, in which she plays a ruthless, foul-mouthed, self-destructive (but of course extremely charming) management consultant, and every once in a while as a nice counterpoint I like to remember that she's a Disney princess who cries about sloths.

you guys, you made me finally looked up Kristen Bell and sloths and now I love her and sloths even more. <3

Why won't these videos satisfy my curiosity and show the sloth turd?

I keep hearing how America and elsewhere used to have sloths the size of bears and elephants and stuff. Did they poop once a week too? Now those must have been some mighty turds indeed.
