A few Star Trek: Nemesis movie spoilers for your Trekking pleasure. (Don't look if you don't want key plot and character development points given away!) More inside. Thread may contain spoilers. No detox gel in sight.

So far, we have the Riker-Troi marriage, two "clones" of major characters, one crewmember "dying" near the end, and echoes of Spock's Wrath of Khan katra transfer.

And of course, Wesley Crusher. (I wasn't able to see the last Wesley episode on ST:TNG. Can someone refresh me on how he left the series?)

Speaking of Spock, wasn't he working underground amongst the Romulans to bring them back to their Vulcan roots? Will we be having a Leonard Nimoy cameo?

Forgot to add this: More detailed items from a script review. I must hasten to add that these are, for all intents and purposes, mere rumors which I don't take as authoritative or certain. I was just fascinated reading them and thought they would make a good link.

Well that about does it for the even-good:odd-bad sequel theory for Star Trek films. Star Trek Ten sounds like a crapper.

Will Kirk be back to have sex with a green chick wearing a swimsuit made from pool filter scum?
I see neither Kirk nor green chicks wearing a swimsuits made from pool filter scum mentioned.
It's not really much of a Star Trek unless Kirk gets to have sex with a green chick wearing a swimsuit made from pool filter scum, now, is it?

Not in dong_resin's America, no sir.

I believe William T. Riker was delegated this crucial pandering to the 14 year old boy demographics function in Next Generation --wait, he's getting married to Troi in this movie? I'm telling mom!

Does Troi still have the mall hair? It's been a while for me since I've seen it.

Brownpau: Wesley became a master of interdimensional travel under the tutelage of The Traveller and took off to explore new worlds. That's about as much as I can recall at this ungodly hour of the morning.

This movie looks like it has the potential to be as good as First Contact, but I am not gonna back that opinion up with cold, hard cash. Only time will tell.

Yeah. Like "This is not the last episode."

Much like CmdrTaco's admission that he'd still be there with money in hand if Star Wars: Episode Two turned out to be titled "Jar-Jar's Revenge," I know that I too will be in the theater opening night.

Resistance is futile.

Also, I've been groovin' on that Next Generation rerun overload that TNN is balsting away with. Thank God my buddy with the ridiculous 65" TV has already ordered his TNG DVD sets.
