Since nobody in this Brave New Listicle World seems to feel like crediting things anymore, the artist is Phil Noto.

I would read the hell out of a book that's just the vacation antics of Wanda, Viz, Scott, and Jean.

In 1972, Rance Allen was probably supporting the Truth Is Where It's At album. Featuring gospel soul hits like There's Gonna Be A Showdown.

Thanks for the catch entropicamericana.

This picture is driving me crazy. Kitty looks exactly like a current actress, but I can't remember who.

Whoops, didn't notice I linked the whole strip. It was Kitty in the Kitty+Peter pic, and she reminds me a lot of Aubrey Peeples.

More Phil Noto via ComicsAlliance: 1 2

As I've mentioned before*, 9GAG is notorious for rehosting webcomics and artwork without attribution, several times even removing author signatures from the images, and it would be nice if we could never link to 9GAG ever again.

*that was my previous account

Plus 1000 for Ben Grimm's Menorah-based Ugly Sweater and Franklin Richards' "No F***s given or accepted" staredown.

Phil Noto is great!

So...Not actual drawings from the 60's and 70's, but, rather, some youngster's assumption of the look of the 60's and 70's. Or something like that.

Yeah, I didn't mean to pile on you, I just wanted to make sure people were aware of what kind of site 9GAG is.

Yeah, I remember seeing Phil Noto's Marvel retro drawings on the Blue before. (In fact, I believe it was the previously link where I ended up down a rabbit hole of his work.)

I do love them, though.

Did you ever catch Wanda and the The Vizh's honeymoon, from uhh . . . 1975? The Vision in a speedo!
You look gorgeous.
I don't feel gorgeous, I feel embarrassed.

I love Noto, there's all set from the same serie on imgur.

Would have been lovely to see the black characters in more than one photo and mixing with non-black characters.
