Nobody disputed the dramatic gender disparity in the Ashley Madison user base, including the company itself. 5.5 million profiles are marked “female” in a database of roughly 37 million people. Back on the day it took so much damn time and effort to get a successful hookup on those sites that I wondered if it ever worked at all (I met some people who'd become close friends but , yeah it was the opposite of easy or casual, although if I'm being honest its probably cause I was a lot heavier back then so I was basically chuckles the comedy eunuch. )
