What sleeping postures reveal

What sleeping postures reveal Curiuously accurate. "People say we gotta watch while he sleeps, for it is the only time that body is not under suppression, but never judge Mr. Nice Guy from one posture" They claim it applies to women too.
It doesn't talk about those of us who sleep in restraints, which I think leaves a lot of people out.

And, whoever did this study is ignoring the "hangs-from-ceiling-by-toes" demographic. Bad science!

I'M NOT GAY
Of course not, darling. I'm not sure about those awful men you sleep with, though.

I'm going to start practicing this position:
"Lying on one side: This posture belongs to a confident person; whatever he undertakes will see success owning to his relentless endeavour. Anyone who lies on the right side, stretching his right arm over the head is said to be blessed with power and fortune."
You hear that? Power AND fortune! I will rule you all, yet.

I sleep that way, and get elbowed by my wife for snoring. Power and fortune and cracked ribs. Hey, there are always tradeoffs.

As I get older, I find the number of positions where I can actually sleep is becoming smaller and smaller. I used to be a free-style sleeper - back, front, sides, whatever. Today the mattress, tomorrow the world!
Now, I have to be on my side (right preferred), carefully maintaining all limbs within a narrowly defined set of neck-back-torso angle parameters. Boring.
Must try....maintain....brain....flexibility....

one time i fell asleep on my front with both my arms under my body, and I woke up and both my arms were numb and I couldn't move them and so I rolled over and they were both just flailing around out of control, my dead arms, and it was quite freaky indeed...but not as freaky as the time that i woke up but i was utterly paralysed and couldn't move at all or open my eyes, and to make things worse there was an evil presence in the room, in fact it was a witch, and said witch came up to me, and whispered something in my ear, and then started to leave the room, and i was desparately trying to wake up to catch sight of this witch but i couldn't, until she had left the room, at which point i lurched up out of bed heart pounding, totally, massively freaked out and had to go and get a glass of milk. then i found out it is a recognised phenomenon, known as 'old hag' which made me feel slightly better. but i digress.

I used to have ASP (Awareness during Sleep Paralysis), too, rikabel. Terrifying. Truly terrifying. Happened to me alot in my teens, but its backed off recently. Now I usully only get it when I'm really stressed about something. Yuck... one of the most helpless, terrified feelings I've ever felt. It's made me really sketchy about even mild claustrophobia, too.

It doesn't specify on the site where these finding were drawn from, but I strongly suspect they were taken from the scientific discipline known as "Making stuff up."
