Beautiful. I worked in Antarctica on and off for about six years. My experience, on the whole, was a lot less "sweeping majesty" and a lot more "diesel exhaust," but I got my fair share of sweeping majesty as well. The place gets into you and never leaves. Now I'm working on a PhD in the tropics. I think about Antarctica every day, and wonder how the hell I ended up here.
