Judy Collins has released a new album, duets with artists such as Willie Nelson, Don McLean, Jimmy Buffett, Bhi Bhiman and a number of others. As expected, her voice is beautiful and ageless. The Spotify playlist is here. A video for her duet with Thomas Dybdahl (From Grace) is on Youtube. Enjoy...

Looking forward to this. I grew up with her cover of Sandy Denny's Who Knows Where The Time Goes, & Someday Soon is still one of my favorite songs of all time. Her voice is such a gift.

Thank you HuronBob! I too grew up with her voice. I look forward to enjoying this, and shared it with my parents, too.

I photographed her a couple weeks ago for an Observer feature. She could not have been a sweeter, more giving person. Half way through the shoot I asked if she'd be willing to do some shots with a guitar (we were shooting in her home.) She smiled and said yes, that people never ask her to incorporate one in shoots anymore. She grabbed it and as we set up the shot she tuned it and started playing and we were treated to an impromptu 10 minute show as we shot. Amazing person and talent.

She has such an amazing voice. I saw her play at a Pete Seeger memorial concert last summer, which was a sort of funny, disjointed affair with an eclectic range of performers and lots of people sitting in a square that wasn't quite made for big public gatherings. But she got up and sang, "Turn, Turn, Turn," with that voice that hasn't changed in 50 years and the whole crowd sang along with her. That made me cry somehow.
