Felines of New York, inspired by Humans of New York, will show you what authentic cats are really thinking.

felinesofnewyork.com is one of the strangest sites I've seen in some time. I have no idea how these people got their cats wedged into their New York, or why.

Yeah, I think "You don't get it" pretty much sums up what our cat is thinking 95% of the time. The other 5% is worth it, though.

“The one thing I want is just out of reach.”

“What’s the one thing you want?”

“That toy.”

“Why don’t you just move forward a little and grab it.”

“You don’t get it.”

Or... maybe not. Maybe just a few things that friends have posted were good. Most of those aren't.

New Yorkers of New York?

I'm pretty sure that even in New York cats are either thinking about eating, thinking about sleeping, thinking about knocking shit over, and, mostly, thinking about killing things.

I hear you, Mr. Bojangles.

I still say this one is significantly more poignant and legitimately funny than any of the other HONY parodies so far.

I love Felines of New York. This one is my favourite:

“I’m really looking forward to the Summer, I want to get out of the city and hit the beach for a few days.”
“Do you like the water?”
“No, I won’t go near the water. I’ll just stay on the litter box part.”

“Both my parents were feral and now I live inside. I think that’s all they wanted, they wanted me to have it better. To know the feel of carpet, and to shit in a box.”

Me too friend, me too.

“We’re really taking the time to figure each other out, and it’s going great. We realized, ultimately, we both want the same thing.”

“What’s that?”

“People food.”

“Is that why you have a pillow with your face on it?”

“No, but it helps.”
It does help.
