Canada bids farewell to Harper, and hello to Trudeau

Canada's Liberal party sweeps the 2015 elections Harper steps down as Liberal party wins a large majority. With 184 seats now controlled by the Liberals, Justin Trudeau promises an ambitious agenda, both domestically, and internationally. Meanwhile the Conservative party is in disarray, as analysts attempt to determine how the Liberal surge happened, when earlier polls showed aclosely matched race. A deciding factor? The collapse of the NDP, who only gained 44 seats.
