If there's no beer and no dogs in Heaven, I don't want to go there.

Of course there's no beer in Heaven. The beer is in Hell and I'll be buying the first round.

For all the polka music my grandparents were listening to every time I'd visit, the only two I ever learned to recognize were this one and "I don't want her, you can have her, she's too fat for me…". Never even understood any of the German ones. Funny how this one came to be popular; I guess drinking is the universal language.

Fantastic -- the only person I've ever heard sing this is one of the original inventors of supergravity, usually when cycling around the Santa Cruz Mountains when visiting Stanford, but occasionally as a toast when sharing a prized Belgian brew he managed to uncover locally.

Apropos of little, he also has a fun habit of substituting in some (particular-but-random-to-me) number instead of zero in conversation/seminars etc as a cognitive checksum to see if people are actually paying attention.
