I don't 100% understand what just happened, or why they're barefoot, but I don't think I need to, it's wonderful.

there is something so utterly german about doing something completely ridiculous, yet taking it totally seriously

These are downright subdued compared to the technicolour nightmare of 1990's soccer kits.

Double. Still amazing, though - please post this more often because once the whole world sees this, there will be no war.

This needs to be transformed into one of those Drake-dancing memes, but since there are so many people in the German Serious Dancing, the soundtrack should be Harlem Shake. You'll thank me later.

Interesting trivia: the Czech slang term for mullet is "Bundesliga."

It is only lacking the audience all clapping in time to reach peak Germanness.

Also lovely is the announcers explaining the colour schemes for viewers with black and white televisions.

I checked the upload date: 2008. That's ridiculous, I thought, this is obviously a 70s artifact. A couple of the comments have it 1974, which sounds right -- I mean, look at the hairdos and one of the fashion designers (or reps of the company that manufactures these outfits, I'm not sure), one of them wears bellbottoms. So, kids, these are your parents. Maybe your grandparents.
