The clips of the DIY dance revues are cracking me up. They have all the visual cues of a pop boy band (dancing together, all facing the same way, and wearing matching costumes) but of course it is meant to be very different from a boy band. And they almost all seem to be filmed outdoors, under bridges or in building courtyards.
I don't know if the direct link will work, but I wonder when the footage in this one was taken. The hair cuts look like the same era as Flock of Seagulls maybe?
