Onto the Land (yt) - the latest in a series of Grand Theft Auto V nature documentaries in the style of David Attenborough.
This is so super duper awesome.

Okay the part about humans is a bit self-congratulatory, even as they come out with the ecological message.

Kept waiting for the indication that this was satire, but no, it seems completely sincere.
What? Doing the whole thing completely straight is the joke. He's doing pitch-perfect wildlife narration over footage of video game NPC AI patterns.
Okay the part about humans is a bit self-congratulatory
Except he's saying that over pictures of GTA characters, who are one of the lowest, vilest forms of life that can be found in a video game.

Brilliant.
I kept expecting Lamar to pop in with WHAT UP MAH NIG-GAH, which would have been pretty funny, but this is funnier.

Here's the rest of their videos. Lots of TV parodies. The Gordon Ramsay cooking parody is pretty good, although it's a bit more on the nose about being a videogame.
I'd love to see the Attenborough shtick applied to Red Dead Redemption.

There are several games you could theoretically do this with, but GTA5 is the only one I can think of with such powerful in-game movie tools that make it feasible.

As someone who's never played GTA, this raised so many questions for me. I'm assuming there's some kind of camera mod to enable the shots from those perspectives, but do all of those nature things actually happen in the game? Is the island just a side area of gameplay?
