On the off chance you were too dazzled by the set to be dazzled by the riding, or mayhaps you thought it's all fakery & CGI, watch the making of.

Yeah, I'm torn. I love love love the riding, but the set was TOO fancy. It was hard sometimes to see the line and figure out what was being done. The set was really cool, but I don't feel like it was the best way to showcase his riding.

don't forget to stay for the credits, there's (painful) outtakes where you get a much better sense of what they were working with before all the editing. also watch chavenet's link.

That was half the joy for me. It was a mix of cool stunts and mind-tweaking optical illusions.
