Since it's just the two of us in here (for now, anyhow), this one made me laugh

Surprisingly high number of Star Wars clips in that one.

This is great; they even managed to get Bruce Lee in there :)

Good mashup. That song has a compelling tune, though -- it gave what should have been a riotous bunch of juxtapositions a surprising sense of gravitas. And here I thought it was just Adele's voice that was the grabber.

Some really great clips in there. I thought it would've been less coherent than it was.

It really is one of those perfectly tuned melodramatic songs with witty yet pained lyrics combined with gut wrenching piano. Her voice just puts it right over anything else on radio lately. That said, it's so well-produced that repeated listening has given me a sense that it's best as a meme instead of a song in itself. The combination of the variety of mashups, remixes, parodies, etc. is more enjoyable for me, at this point.

I'm still debating whether or not to text the lyrics to various people and see who would fall for it.

I've been having a similar "problem" with the song lately myself. Like it's a really good song, and it's exploded, and it's an ear worm, but it's not like a GREAT song. It's not even one of Adele's best songs, but it's behaving like a great song.

There's this nameless thing inside of it which is attracting people. There's been like a million covers and remixes, starting from a fews days after it was released. SNL has already done a skit about it. Everyone knows it. Half the time I have it stuck in my head.

There's definitely something about this song, but I haven't a clue what it is.
