Take a ride on the Genre Line to Nonlinear Rant Again

This is kinda fun, but I just want to point out that the title is incorrect, Nonlinear Rant Again is not on the Genre Line, it's on the Lube/Lye Owl Line.

Glad to know my point of entry/exit every day is Shaved Orgy.

Feels kind of appropriate that so many meetups happen at Arcane Lizard.

Over on the opposite coast, I'm not surprised to learn that the endpoint of my commute is Wet Leaks.

The station local to my childhood home is "A Fresh Cult Clash". I see ignorant armies clashing by night...

...Somewhat disturbingly, two adjacent stops on the light rail here in Let's Eat anagram to "Bemoan Kurt" and "Cobain Hell".

I could go for a Laudanum Gelato right about now.

Yeah, I just realized the Green Line doesn't go to National Airport. I combined my favorite line with with favorite anagram. Sorry about that.

Some of these are quite on the nose! Federal Triangle – above which is the Reagan Bldg – becomes "Faltering Leader."

I get off for work every day at Laudanum Gelato, which, frankly, seems about right.

As a proud resident of the Station Elsewhere service area, I can confirm that that is the proper name of the station.

"Spring Livers" is, um, well, you know what? I have a ball, perhaps you'd like to bounce it?

This is not helping me get over the liberties Fallout 3 took with Metro.

I am strangely disappointed to live closest to the Oak Mat station. I mean, when the leaves start falling it's actually accurate!

I really like this sort of thing. My first experience was with the London anagram Tube map. That seems to be the first (popular) one, and it even has a Wikipedia page covering the TfL takedown.

Nothing can really be removed from the internet, though. See?

I have only really taken the DC Metro to go to Beta Shed for a conference but this is still delightful to me and I want one for Boston post-haste.

My facebook memories reminded me just a couple of days ago that I'd been laughing at the London on a couple of years ago. The Wimbledon branch of the District line has a distinctly Lovecraftian theme.
