Eponysterical?

Anyway, really enjoyed these play by plays, although some more detailed analysis would have been interesting. I feel like the new 'superforecasting' book has been on a lot of best.seller lists for 2015.

That was pretty fun, in the same way reading the superflu section of The Stand is fun.

Here's their 2015 article, for comparison. It's not... super accurate, even in a worst case scenario sort of way.

Well accuracy isn't the point. How accurate were The Day After Tomorrow, 2012, or San Andreas? It's financial disaster porn.

I'm pretty sure this is the business journalism version of erotic fiction.

Just watch that company grow bigger and bigger... It's so sleek and confident, throbbing with vital cash... Which market will it penetrate next?

The Guardian article is the only one that didn't induce a panic attack in me before the end of first paragraph.

Bloomberg makes beautiful, beautiful graphs and slideshows. That was a joy to click through.

I really hope The Fix's Obama idea comes through. And then they follow up with the dumpster fire prediction of Ted Cruz. I hope that's wrong. I mean, choosing the republican to lead this round is like choosing which tooth you want pulled without anesthetic. Remember when the leader of the Republicans was this guy we called Mittens. Can we bring back that guy?

I definitely think Cruz will be the nominee. Who else could it possibly be? It's between him and Rubio, and he has less of a "boy wonder" quality, despite him and Rubio being the same age.

The second article in the Fix link is one of the most deeply unserious things I've ever read--like a less Hitler-y Ann Coulter book. Wow.

Is "Gold Prices Rise" the equivalent of a detailed cumshot description? Because that's certainly the leitmotif for this series.

I can only see exactly 4 years in the future. So finally after all this time my visions are 2020.

I only made one resolution this year.

Don't ask any any questions that I don't already know the answer to.

Paul Ryan will be president. (Not necessarily in 2016)
