Who would imagine that a duck would be less cooperative than a cat?

I feel cheated by not getting to hear the tiny quacks.

Gift bags are always the way to go.

just as long as you don't use a gift crate and leave it on top of your foosball table and then it and its chick companion fall into said foosball table and you have to dismantle it to get them out (or rather, let your friend's wife break it apart because you couldn't bear to)

Surely a Christmas Sweater (duck sized) is the correct way to wrap a duck for Christmas, no?

Dear YouTube,
Automatically suggesting the video 'Christmas Duck How to Cook with glaze & Orange sauce recipe', directly after showing me a cute duckling in wrapping paper, is NEVER AN ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR .

Agreed, orange sauce for duck is such a cliche at this point. Maybe try a cherry-port reduction or a nice plum sauce for once?

The duck was fine until she started cutting the paper right next to it. Then the duck was like "Crazy lady with scissors! I am out of here!" Then it was too late. She tried with precut paper and the duck reacted again: "Crazy lady with tape! What is she trying to do to me?"

The bag gave the duck a place to hide. "Is she still there? Quick, hide!"

Is that why you rarely hear "Wanna Buy a Duck?" anymore, in spite of their continued popularity in Peking Duck and Turducken? (In fact, this shows it's probably easier to just stuff a duck into a chicken than wrap it)
