Giant world map stencil - Teach kids that there's more to this wide world of ours than just their hometown with this giant pavement stencil. Learning geography has never been this much fun!

I assume this is making fun of the "world" apparently consisting only of the United States.

That's huge. That totally would NOT fit on my driveway.

It would be cooler if it were smaller, and consisted of more than just the U.S.

Childhood memory:
We had to memorize all the states and then draw them on a piece of blank paper (this was maybe third grade?) - I know I learned more about what I didn't draw than what I did...this idea might kind of work the same way - make the kids draw stuff out - it's way better than memorizing a map. At least, that's my opinion.

We did the same thing. I never marked out Sophia and Budapest and Bukarest correctly - now I'll never forget these places. :))

Also, the entire class got one square from a world map to draw on the schoolyard (in squares of the same proportions taped out by our teacher) I spent all day trying to get japan to look right. :)) That idea was at least as big as the product depicted in the picture, and didn't cost anything but tape and water soluble paints. Oh, and it cost our parents a lot of washing powder because somehow, more paint ended up on us than on the yard. :P it was great!

Except, say, traveling and reading and stuff.

I know someone else said it... but the irony of an educational aid about "the world" only featuring the USA demands a second whack. Hey, guys, when the rest of the world accuses you lot of being a mite insular and ignorant, this is the kind of shit we're talking about, okay?

Hogshead,

In fairness, the website lists a "Giant USA Stencil" which "surprise" has the same photo.

The world stencil is listed as being 18 feet by 34 feet and the US one is 16 by 27. The world one would be just a bit bigger than the picture shown.

Here's a picture of the World map.

The world map is described as "GENERIC ROCKETS BULK PACK".

Is that a coding error, or foreign policy?
