The fake laughter kills it for me.

This is the best Yoda joke:
5 afraid of 7 was, for what reason, hmm?

Because 6 7 8!

"Have hand stuck up there, talk like this you will!"

Speak like Yoda he did not, killed it for me that did.

The animation is cute but for some reason these were funnier to me when they were coming out of nowhere in the middle of Arin and Danny playing some truly sadistic Mario Maker levels. Incredibly difficult Mario Maker is what the latter's referring to when he mentions "both of these things at once."

NO NO NO, IT'S LIKE THIS:

"A car I would drive..heh-heh-heh...what kind it would be, hmmmm?"

FIRST GAG IN THE SET AND THEY COULDN'T GET THAT ONE RIGHT
SO SIMPLE IT WAS - THAT IS WHY THEY FAIL

Do or do not, but trying this is.

There have been many definitions of Generation X, but I think none are more accurate than "a person who heard Weird Al's 'Yoda' and did not know that it was a parody of another song."

Yeah, definitely, the Game Grumps Animated segments are never as great as the bits in context - it's like hearing the "Heynong Man" bit from Comedy Bang Bang out of context, it just feels like an in joke and doesn't have any of the buildup and ongoing interactions between performers. Game Grumps is basically an over the top version of playing games as a kid at 3 am with your friends while sleep deprived and subsisting on caffeine and candy, and the bits on their own don't have that whole context where they spring up improvised during a bunch of other silliness.

It's from this video (playlist link), start at just past one minute because there's an in-video commercial first. Joke Yoda starts later, about five minutes and fifteen seconds in.

And super mario maker is the bomb, you guys. For real.

"Heyyyy, Ben!"
"WHAT, Uncle Lando?"
"So, I hear you're serious about training in the force."
"Well, DUH, Uncle Lando!"
"It's all good, it's all good. You know what happened when Yoda tried to train your Uncle Luke?"
"I... I think I do. Mom told me."
"Did she tell you why Yoda couldn't train Luke the right way, slugger?"
"Because Uncle Luke wanted to help his friends instead of train to be a Jedi?"
"No. We would never have defeated the Empire and their Sith if he hadn't."
"Then why, Uncle Lando!"
"Because when it came to Jedi training... he was a little short that day."
"Uncle Lando... "
"GET IT?"

Cue opening theme to The Force Awakens.

If Yoda you can not parse, syntactical sense your jokes do not make.

Canonically, in the Star Wars universe, parsecs are a unit of meaningless bullshit.

As in "there are too many parsecs in Episode I, we could fix this by ditching Jarjar."

Agreed that this video isn't great without the background context. But I went and watched the video it came from, and about fell over laughing. So... thanks!

Yes, thanks for telling me that the jokes are way better in context. I nearly died laughing. Here it is, for those that haven't seen it yet.
