This post was deleted for the following reason: Folks seem pretty mixed on this, plus unexpected dicks, meh. -- LobsterMitten

I love that they have a sense of humor about this, but if I were sleeping dude I would be too mortified to ever go back to work.

Poor guy.
I once fell asleep over lunch hour at work, figuring the presses would wake me up in time. Instead I woke up to my supervisor glaring at me. " Foont! Why aren't you working!"
"I was asleep!"
"Do you know what time it is?"
"Of course not! I was sleeping!!"
We had a strong Union.

It looks like the sleeper was the one who posted the picture online in the first place, so I'm ok with it.

From the HuffPo article: The lighthearted staff decided to snap an office photo with the slumbering intern. When he awoke, he found the picture so funny that he posted it on Reddit.

Taking the picture seems like just a fun intra-office jokey thing which is fine. If one of the coworkers had been the one to make it public, that would have crossed a line into bullying I think.

We were on a last name basis.

I once built a hammock at work when I worked nights in a store room.
I attached it to a street crane so I could fly around the warehouse to get things if anyone woke me up and needed them.

I just heard him interviewed on my local CBC radio station (Montreal) and he confirmed he uploaded it to Reddit, finds the whole thing funny and isn't worried about his future job prospects tanking. Didn't catch the last name, but Edward the intern is a Concordia University student.

So laugh away Internet.

Whew. Thanks for pointing that out, sparklemotion & Cuke. The link in the FPP made it seem like he didn't post it himself. Different thing entirely!

Just a warning that there may be NSFW content on that link.

(i.e. when I clicked, the "Recently Submitted" at the bottom of the page has a hard-core bukkake shop...)

A clickbait picture at the bottom of this page – at least for me – is very NSWF. Like, dicks. Be warned.

So many dicks

We all have dreams where we do something so notable that we're instantly recognized by strangers afterward.

I'm guessing exactly none of those dreams include this.

I have now gone 100% from 'ugh, poor dude' reading the FPP to 'ALL I CAN THINK ABOUT IS THIS PETER PAN WAREHOUSE SITUATION' in just over an hour. The internet is truly a rollercoaster.

Sorry for that folks. I run noscript and ublock so I didn't see them. Mods, if you need to delete this post please do so.
