Valentine: I only listen out of necessary politeness, it is your fire I want to devour, and your rain I will bathe in, and your skin, I will send on it's way.

Valentine, the thought of you has sunk deep into me as a wolf's tooth sinks into the carcass of its prey.

Valentine, I love you as I love the jungle: against my better judgment.

Or, if Werner isn't your style, a Cronenberg valentine. [via madamjujujive's Everlasting Blort]

Valentine, it occurred to me that in the time that we spent together possibly three or four languages have died.

You can also have "Lame Rick and Morty V-day cards ". There's even a Werner Herzog voice one.

Valentine, from the forbidden recesses of my heart's darkest chamber I chose these flowers for you. They are ferns.

That's... kind of sweet.

I can't tell you how many times this will come in handy: "Valentine, we have mutual respect for each other, even as we both plan each other's murder." Thanks for the link!

Thank you thank you thank you!

Valentine, together we will boil water and stop fish.

I'm no Herzog expert--I'm not even a Herzog dilettante. Could someone please explain this to me? (Or explain patiently that there's nothing to get? That would be OK too.)

This one is apt in so many ways right now: Valentine, much like the black ice that presently covers this cruel city, our love is stubborn and insidious.

Dear valentine, with you I see planets that don’t exist and landscapes that have only been dreamed.

I'm maybe a little concerned but still willing to accept this as romantic in the absence of other signs of madness (besides the general insanity of love itself).

Sorry, I thought we were supposed to make up Hertzogesque valentines, after reading some quotes.

Topical!
