I am so impressed with the sheer patience she must have. This is really remarkable.

I plan to see Deadpool this weekend and if that song is from the soundtrack I might be too old for this shit.

That song is not from the soundtrack and you're probably the right age for the actual soundtrack songs.

But what about her back?

This is really cool!

I thought I saw someone cosplaying as Deadpool on the street the other day, but it was just a kid in a red balaclava with a tennis racket in a backpack. By "thought I saw," I mean I almost screamed because I subconsciously thought he was there to kill me. I collected myself and left the restaurant before I did anything rash, though.

Here's a little something on the movie soundtrack, and the complete list of songs in the movie (and the FanFare thread, where you can ask more questions, if you're OK squinting to miss spoilers and such).

Check out her rendition of Thanos. It's like she peeled herself right off one of Ron Lim's pages.

Just a note that she's cosplaying Lady Deadpool, not the dude in the theaters.

I had seen her Attack on Titan stuff before, had no idea she works solo. I would've expected this to be done by a team of 6 at least.

Skillz.

Thanks. I noticed that I left off "Lady" right as I hit post and I facepalmed.

As for the music, I haven't seen the film yet, but Junkie XL did the score.

This is totally awsome and I'd actually like a somewhat slower timelapse.

That said, slight derail:
1. I have seen the Deadpool movie, and I liked it
2. I looooove Deadpool cosplay stuff - it's all so funny/light hearted
would I like Deadpool comics? Is there somewhere I should start?

There are so many someplaces. Look for the writers' names. Gerry Duggan has done the recent stuff and you can't go wrong there. The "Dead Presidents" arc was his introduction and while it's a little more silly than his later stuff (he was playing with expectations) it's as good a start as any and will get you caught up quickly. His later stuff is the best Deadpool IMHO, but gets into comics history (relatively lightly, but it has better payoff if you're steeped in this stuff) and some darker themes

This is the graphic novel that collects that arc (provided for convenice, no affiliation and do try a local comic shop.)

The other long running DP writers are Kelly (who is considered definitive by many) and Way (who is more divisive but generally had a tone you might appreciate (if you like Dead Presidents you'll like Way.))

This song, in fact, is from the 2013 videogame.

There's something really delightfully strange about the end product. When I first saw it, my brain just switched into that mode you get into when watching a Michael Bay film: ie, "That's CG". I instinctively classified her as cel-shaded. So good job!

So there's a Lady Deadpool?

For more ladies as comic typically male characters (or something), here's Keira Knightley as Cable (fan art and a suggestion for Deadpool 2).
